Eileen K. Murray

Eileen K. Murray is currently Chief Executive Officer of Investment Risk Management LLC.
She most recently served as Co-Chief Executive Officer, President and was a Partner of Duff Capital Advisors. From 2005 – 2007, Ms. Murray was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, Head of Global Technology and Operations and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. In this role, Ms. Murray supervised approximately 10,000 employees and was responsible for a budget of approximately $5.5 billion.
Ms. Murray first joined Morgan Stanley in 1984 as a Senior Analyst in the Controllers office. Prior to the merger of Morgan Stanley Group and Dean Witter Discover, Ms. Murray was Controller and Treasurer of Morgan Stanley Group. After the merger, she was Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of the Firm. Ms. Murray also served as Chief Administrative Officer of Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Securities Group from 1999 to 2002. In addition, Ms. Murray served as the Firm’s Head of Product Control from 2002 to 2005.
Before rejoining Morgan Stanley in 2005, Ms. Murray was Head of Global Technology, Operations and Product Control at Credit Suisse First Boston where she managed over 7,000 professionals and a budget of approximately $4.0 billion. Appointed to CSFB’s Divisional Committee, she was the first woman to serve on CSFB’s Executive Board.
Ms. Murray is a Member, UChicago Argonne, LLC Board of Governors for Argonne National Laboratory. In addition to her roles at Morgan Stanley and CSFB Ms. Murray has served on the Hewlett Packard Financial Services Board of Advisors, OMGEO Board, various committees for Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation Board (DTCC) and was a member of the Board of American Women’s Economic Development Corporation (AWED).
Ms. Murray has received the following distinguished awards: Women’s Bond Club (2003 Merit Achievement Award), Urban Stages 2005 Humanitarian Award, The League Treatment Center 2006 Gala Awards Dinner Guest of Honor, the Corporate Chair of the Inwood House Spring 2006 Gala, the Co-Chairman of the YWCA Academy of Women Leaders Salute Benefit, 2008 Co-Chair of the YMCA of Greater New York Arts and Letters Auction and Reception, and was the recipient of Legal Momentum’s Aiming High 2007 Award. Ms. Murray was named one of the 25 Most Powerful Non-Bank Women in Banking by U. S. Banker in 2007 and 2008.
Ms. Murray graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Manhattan College in 1980 and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees.
